Just fitted new brake senor on rear of E46 ci. Light still on  Not being lazy and have read previous threads (leave ignition on for 5 minutes - position 2) but it won't work.
Any other ideas??????

the sensor light should turn itself off after driving for a while, if not might need to plug in the comp and get it reset.
you can hold the key and do it im off to my harahe tommorow and il let you know how they do it

Turn key to position 1 and leave your drivers door open for a couple of minutes and it will reset the warning light .

I had a X5 which had the same problem, fitted new sensors and new pads and discs, it will go out after a few miles. I think mine went out after 30miles or so.
Good things come to those who wait ;-)
