I have just had the most fantastic weekend courtsey of Fredy Barth and Exagon racing.

I got to meet some friendly people (Alain Menu, Rob Huff), hang out in the Pit Lane with the Monroe-Exagon team and also walk the grid for both WTCC and EUROCUP races.

There are 900 photos from the weekend - and below are some of those from the Sunday

Are the SEATS running FWD?

Yep - both WTCC and Eurocup - the latter at 300PS on 265 width slicks

Any noticable difference in lap times compared to the RWD cars? I would have thought which wheels were driven is an important determinant of which class the cars run in.

WTCC is "balanced" using penalty weights and reversed grids.

Ballast for Diesel
Ballast for RWD
Ballast for success

Keeps the racing reasonably balanced - although the diesels pull out of corners very well. The EUROCUP costs about 50% of an independent WTCC season - and their laptimes are on par with WTCC cars.
