Roy to customer today

" yes sir that custom fabricated part will cost you £xxxxx inc vat "

Customer response , in a calm poshish voice " Does that come WITH the anal lubricant , and if so what brand please? "

Even tho ' at my expense I had to share that gem ......I laughed so much I cried ..it was so well delivered and timed ....AND I closed the sale in the end at the quoted price [cool

we get so many weird and funny calls that I wss thinking of keeping a log for posterity .

A common call is something like this :

"hi mate I need an exhaust for my 3 series ....how much ? ".......no mention of year , engine , series etc ......

anyone else got any ...teddy ??

Paul. I would wait between 5-7 days to let your suspension settle before you get an alignment done. To get it done so soon after getting it installed is a waste of time as it takes a few days to settle properly

Aye, gotta leave it a few days and drive around a bit to jiggle everything into place.

ok, cheers, the springs have been on there for a while, so will have a play with the settings on the dampers :)

The fact that you've had the springs on a while is irrelevant. You're taking them off, they're going to become unsprung, so it's worth waiting a few days.
