Supersprint Question

Hi,

just got my Centre piece to fit onto the SP race backbox but noticed that there is only 1 flange on the centrepiece.
There is an O-ring involved between the connection but is this sufficient?:confused:

Is this correct?

I have the un-resonated one and I think it looked the same, will have a butchers under the car later. ;)

Mine has 2 clamps on either end.

the other flange is loose and slides on before the "o'ring"

BTW mike, do you also have the race box? Do you find the unresonated pipes loud ?

No I`ve got the ACS back box (I wanted to try and keep everything OEM at one point. :o Got my warranty renewal through today, was thinking of ringing them to ask what they`d still cover :D ) The straight section isn`t that loud unless you have a Gruppe M or something, I`ve still got the std. cats though.

As Justin said the other clamp is just a loose one that compresses that metal O ring (bit like a copper olive on a plumbimg fitting).

I found the SS L/W box and straight thru centre too loud for everyday driving, but everyone is different, I prefer the non lightweight box.
