Beavis & Butthead trying to drift

So at the last trackday a mate of mine in a E92 M3 and I decide we will try to hold some drifts. Very weird as it is not what my brain is programmed to do as I have always tried to keep wheel spin at a minimum. Not very impressive but pretty funny, as expected there were a few spins. :rolleyes:

haha, thats hilarious :D ther is an awesome video called 'The Drift Bible' by the Master of drifting. if i recall he said ther was 5 different ways of drifting. very interesting stuff. he even showed how to practise with a cone to train yourself with :) ive mastered the cone drifting :D Finally i will be able to practise and learn this thursday at snetterton on how drift. I will have a pro amateur sitting with me all day, who is sick at drifting :)

I have that video but watching someone tell you does not even come close to doing it yourself. I guess it has to be an instinctive thing.

JESUS Kin mondello is not the place to have a go at drifting as you nearly learned the hard way there at the end of the vid.Try Kirkinstown its a bit more forgiving.:eek:

Its very instinctive to lift off as soon as your car starts to drift...trick is to put your foot down instead and do not be afraid of spinning...:) Traction control off!
