E46 M3 advice please

Lads, I've been offered an M3 and I'm pretty sure I'm gonna go for it but would like your views on the deal. Car is:

04/04 M3
9,000 mls
Manual
CB/IR
HK & FCAR
19" ACS Type III Racing

I can get it for £32k and given its got £5k's worth of rims and rubber it sounds like a good deal. No Sat Nav but not an essential in my view. What do you think?

Also, how feckin' cool is the "Sport" button? Does it put the car on a different engine map or something?

For those of you with mannies, does the clutch always feel that heavy or do you get used to it?

thats good mate.. mine cost me £29.995 estoril blue.. smg.. NO sat nav.. cos i didnt want it anyways... and it had 13,000 miles. 03/03.. go for it try and get it for 30--31 if poss??

Good price for a 2004 car. Great colour combo too. Try knocking further but if not, £32k is still very good.

I'll certainly give it a go but Parkers are saying about £34K for a crap one. The book's a bit out of touch on prices me thinks...

yeah , check them out. u can have a go in mine if u want... theres a BIG step from s 330 to a m3... i didnt think it would be that much.. test drove one... then bought it!!!!

Sorry if i'm poaching this thread, i've been looking at M3's, got in the driver seat of the CS at Goodwood yesterday :D couple of questions; the "sport" button as "330cisport" said does this mean a change in the Map ?

I'm only interested in manuals, and all the ones that I have looked at the gear sticks are longer by at least 50% than my 330ci sport, why ?

Is there a post detailing do's and don'ts when looking for an M3.

My local dealer sold a "Y" reg with 48k miles for 26 grand which I thought was a staggering amount of money!!!! what do you M3 owners think ?

PS anyone going to Goodwood on Sunday get there early and leave early the car park was a total nightmare leaving yesterday, I gave up, parked-up and went to sleep for an hour, woke up and watched the many word fencing bouts [fight

I assume you mean Camera bracket? I've been thinking about the best way to knock one up. Not easy.
