holy crap, all them mods must of cost as much as the car itself, if not more!?!?!
how come you changing the clutch so soon? is it due to the supercharger?

peter antoniou

Yea damn all these parts have cost a lot of money but believe me when each one was arriving i was smiling like a little baby. All these were necessary to build the demo car representing my company and therefore CA who i am their dealer in Cyprus. Hope i am doing good job though. As for the clutch , thought i can replace it since the factory one would not last long before go to dustbin cause of the Active kit.

so proud making business with him Roy @ CA Automotive :)

Congratulations on the purchases, can't wait to see the final product. As for going into business with Roy, that's great news. I think EvoTechnik needs to go international properly and you should probably head up the official EvoTechnik Southern Europe chapter!

BRAKES!!!!!!

Fas of course my purpose is to advertize EVO too since i find it very helpful and a community of very good people here. Louise @ BMW Performance might come for holidays oops photoshoot so everyone will have the chance to know that Evotechnik is everywhere:D
As for brake kits mate trust me i know i have already delayed it, can't imagine how much unsafe i feel even with the stock power. Trying to decide yet the brand and size though, leaning to the BEHEMOTH kit of CA Automotive.
Andy's and Paris your always welcome at Paphos for a cold cofee therapy and a test drive of M.

Behemoth calipers should look fantastic behind the 20"s.

Nick it's all your fault mate:p your got very nice touch and build some awsome cars yourself .yes i was thinking in yellow too or car's colour about the brake kit. Also for the centres of the wheels thinking to paint them in car's colour , now they are at race gold.
Pics uploading:D

hows the bodywork coming along mate?

peter antoniou
09-09-2008, 12:35 PM
Hello mate. Our demo is finished on bodywork issues and we are waiting to build new garage premises to start on the charger kit. The other one is as we speak in the garage getting fitted the charger but nothing is done for bodywork yet. Just to get an idea we are waiting among other things the carbon roof panel by Vorsteiner. Again Roy was next to my company supplying many things. Thank you very much mate :)

Good to see some fellow Cypriots on here :)

Peter - forgive me for asking but how the hell do you get away with those mods in Cyprus? I thought mods were banned? (even though you still see modded cars?!)

Where in Cyprus are you based? I was born in Nicosia :)

Yea these LED's are giving me hard time. Can't really decide to get smoke ones or clear. Dino we are based at Paphos. Here it's not so strict like Nikosia
and happens to know all the cops:rolleyes:

LOL! Nothing changes then!!

I'll be over in Cyprus at the end of the month, driving a hire car like I stole it :p

peter antoniou
10-09-2008, 12:23 PM
Yea be careful though cause i just found out today that a guy called to police accusing my mechanic for driving company's M3 spirited in town.
About hondas just on the time we started importing SPOON engines all the police is after them:eek:

Dino

A friend of mine told me they test cars on rolling roads to test the bhp?? Is this true?

paris
10-09-2008, 01:02 PM
It's supposed to be in the plans for future MOT. But lets face it, in Cyprus they tell one thing this year and implement it 5 years after. And 15 years later it might actually work as it supposed to.

Peter, I really doubt any cop will know that you have a moded M3. He will probably drool over it but nothing more ;)

schnitzer28
10-09-2008, 01:19 PM
mate, cops know f*@k all over here.
with my older car (a 1.6 nissan vz-r), when i got pulled over by the cops, they saw the blue engine cover and they said that i had modified it
not only that, they said that it was illegal to turbo the car!!
which i didnt!!it was stock!! :D
how dumb!!

as long as you dont drive the neighbours mad, then you dont have to worry about the cops.

peter antoniou
10-09-2008, 01:50 PM
yea they can do that about dyno's but not often. A client's car is at the head offices examining what it has and what fine to put on him.

Paris for sure i am afriad to bring the car at Nic especially when charger is on cause of the carbon hood. It gets all the looks as a modified car and they might check all the car just for this. At my city though we don't have any problems. We are all a tight happy family:D
Have to admit that they are great guys and can understand a fellow citizen.
