hi guys,
my sisters car had a puncture and as you all probably know it shows up on the on board computer. took the car to the tyre shop and there was a nail in the tyre so got it repaired. but now it still says on the screen that i have atyre puncture and i definetly dont have one now. how would the warning sign go away its annoying?
thanks in advance

not sure how the e60 are, but on an E46 you just hold down the tyre pressure sensor button till the light goes off. Then press it again till the amber tyre pressure sensor warning light comes on and then it will go off after a while on its own.

if you put the ignition on and not start it
and go to idrive settings it should be in there! clear the fault or reset the pressures

its in the service menu on the idrive you need to reset pressure monitoring

With either the ignition swithed on or with the car running on idle (not moving) push the idrive controller down, then select vehicle settings, under that menu it should have RDC/Tyre pressure. In this it gives you the option to reset it. IIRC!!!

Its the same thing on the E60s...just hold the tyre sensor sign for at least 5 secs, and it should go away automatically. Works for me. J
