Well, a couple of weekends ago, we ventured off to the Nurburgring once again. My girlfriend came with me, she is from Czech, and i was also to meet her parents for the first time at the Nurburgring as it is about half way for them. So, with her only driving the car one time before, we stopped in Belgium and she took over!

i was nervous

She was enjoying herself

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v498/zarnd/P1010826.jpg

100mph on her first go!

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v498/zarnd/P1010825.jpg

I got back behind the wheel, you couldn't tell that i was not at all nervous as to what had just happened!

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v498/zarnd/P1010827.jpg

A lot of pollution on the way down

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v498/zarnd/P1010832.jpg

When we got there, we got to see the VLN race, here are some pics from a different vantage point to normal

This car was so fast, it was unable to be photographed!

Nice track toy!

Some of Jochen's pics. I convinced my girlfriends Mum and Dad to ome for a ride, and also Mikem came for a pax lap too!

It was a small group of is, only 7, and the Pistenklause entertained us both nights and a fantastic time was had by all!

On the way back rom Germany, we stopped in Deauville in Normandy for a few days of relaxation

Leaving the 'Ring we drove on the B410 - absolutely fantastic!

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v498/zarnd/P1010857.jpg

Once we were there, my girlfriend is devastated that we had left the 'Ring and is virtually unconsolable

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v498/zarnd/P1010864.jpg

as we had to spend three days lying on this beach

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v498/zarnd/P1010883.jpg

Overall, we did 1269 miles, and the car faired fantastically! Overall consumption is below, 1.

Roll on September!

Mate, that has made me so jealous. Just told Kerry we need to get the sprogs looked after so she can come to the ring and take the M3 round herself. I told her I would then take her out for a lap and see if I could make her scream :D .

difficult to say. Mikes car definately pulls away very very well and has a lot more torque. I would definately say that Mikes car is the faster car, but when we were going round we didn't get a clear lap so there was always stuff there.

At the end of the day, we are both as nuts as eachother on there!

Awesome pics, weather looked lovely. I would have come to this one you know. Mandy had gone away with the girls and I had booked that weekend to go. Stayed in on my tod and no way was I coming as a passenger.

By September I should have had my insurance payout and fingers crossed bought another car, it won't be an M5 this time, but it'll still be german, and very fast ;)

nearer the time, i will contact Jochen, let him know the dates we are all going etc...Then, if he is going to be there on that date we will do what we did in April where people who thought that they would be interested in photos PM'ed me the make, model and reg number of their car which i forwarded onto Jochen, and everyone then got some photos!

If a few people are prepared to spend 40-60 euros each. You`d be better off hiring him for the day. You can then get rolling pics from another car and you can try different parts of the track (maybe try drifting a little if you know where he is and its quiet). That pic Mystic got coming down the hil would look awesome as a group shot. ;)
