when out for a drive this afternoon, pasted a dealer and when in to have a look, came back with paper signed and ready to pick it up on friday, just in time for the meet.
i loved it to bits, wanted it since last year, couldn't decide to choose between silver or red.
but decide silver looks better.
no pictures yet, so will let you guys guess for a little while.
180mph+ :D :D
p.s i think i might need some evotechnik stickers for this beast.

Was gonna say ZX6R but that won't do 180 and you've already got one if the one in the sig is yours so i'd say maybe an 05 ZX9?

Well, I was gonna say ZX12, but they're only available in black, so I'm gonna go with a ZX10. And, if so, you were right about choosing 725 titanium over red, looks much better.

here she is, still try to find a cheaper insurance for it.
only £132 TPFT for my 600 and over £780 TPFT for this beast  [bang
tried enough insurance company and it's the cheapest.
7 years ncb, no conviction, no points, 34yrs, thatcham approved alarmed, garaged, 3000 miles a year, live in LONDON.
if living in outside london, it'll be £200 cheaper.

Gorgeous bikes to ride and to look at, I'd really recommend fully comp insurance though. I know it's a massive hike in cost but just about every single part on the Yams are expensive to replace if you drop it and those things can get real light at the front when you start enjoying yourself...
The brake balance on them is perfect though, I'll give you about 3 days and you'll be pulling up at junctions with the rear snaking around on the road in a semi-stoppie, they're amazingly well set up from stock. Given a choice of any bike, and with the R7 practically unavailable these days, I'd have an R1 in a heartbeat - and that from a guy with Honda written through him like a stick of rock! Play safe but play hard, I'm jealous as hell lol. :D

yes, i though about that but £600 excess. :(
just have to drive more careful.
you know you can purchase the full rossi bodykit for £1000 from yamaha.
that's a very good price providing the petrol tank cost £800 alone and that's just normal standard one.
so if i do drop, i'll change the whole kit.

Nice choice, if i was gonna replace the blade its definatly what i'd go for. All i can say though is be careful, my mate was out on his ZX9 last night and put it into a lampost and is now dead. Sorry for the happy thought but you just gotta be so careful on bikes all the time.

Yup good idea on the kit Rossi, that or buy replacement plastics from ACU proddy bike suppliers and get someone like Dream Machine to OEM them for you. I've got 2 sets for my old SS400 still, both OEM but I was gonna get the dinged set re-filled and brushed in a custom paint job. Wasn't aware your excess would be so horrible, that's way nasty when you take into account that you're hardly an 18-year old jumping straight onto it.
