Hi people,
Because my car was keyed last night i'm getting a proxcimity (spelt wrong i know) alarm fitted to my car to run along side the standard alarm...
Only problem is this is the only way they can do it without taking out alarm!!! Here goes:
The standard alarm stays exactly the same but when you get within a foot or so the alarm goes off fully, doesn't beep as a warning!!! so you stand next to it and it goes off!!! cna tget it to warn first!!! BUT the good thing is there gonna fit a switch in the car to activate and de-activate the proxcimity alarm, so on the high street in the day i'll turn it off! (but standard alarm still works normally) but at night i'll put it on - if people are within a foot of the car at night then why are they in the first place??? should be a good deterrent i think!!!
Will cover the sides and the boot but not the bonnet. All in for less than £125!!!
I think this will work well at night!!!
Stand NEAR my car and the alarm goes off! [cool
