hi

glad you got them safely :)

The bonnet is £450 second hand in laquered carbon fibre finish or about £1040 new in same finish. UK delivery charge is about £100 though ( I know that is HUGE but it is what our couriers all charge :( ) ...but you are welcome to arrange collection yourself if you can get it cheaper,no problem.

Also consider Vorsteiner; expensive but oh - so - good qualily, fit and looks...but that is not to say the VIS item is bad in any way, far from it ( Fas used it for a while for shows etc), and from a value for money perspective I definately recommend this 2nd hand VIS item.

Either choice will give you an instant visual enhancement, and with the VIS bonnet you have the additional benefit of extra engine cooling = more power for longer periods during hard use.

The Vorsteiner item would require laquering for that "deep" finish whereas the VIS items are pre finished ready to fit (I assume the 2nd item has a good finish still and am happy to confirm before you buy).

Roy, cheers for that, i'm leaning towards the Vorstiener Domed bonnet, my own one has started to bubble just above the headlight and would need spraying the whole bonnet. do you have a price for a E46 323Ci 1999 (preface lift) single sided c/f Domed, single vented, code No; VRSDSFLFTBN-2?
and how ezy is it to fit to the preface lift model? also do you have a delivery time?
sorry for all the questions, but have missed modding for a while as hoose buying and restoring has taken up some time.

Hi
that code you just quoted is for a facelift car, whereas I suggest you opt for item http://www.ca-automotive.co.uk/single_prod-cHJvZF9pZD0xMzk0JmNhcl9tYWtlPWJtdyZjYXJfdHlwZT1lND ZtJmNhdF9pZD00MiZjb21wX2lkPTQ4.html
or it's variants, this is originally designed for the M3 but it is easier to fit to your car than the facelift bonnet; you need to raise the front wings and then bring them in a bit to suit the new bonnet profile, many E46 owners have done this in the past.

delivery time approx 4 - 6 weeks.

all the best

Roy, thks for that, i think these are a bit too much, would prefer if you could do them with just the outer/smaller vents and not the larger ones on the inner if the bonnet, can this be done?
