Sorry guys, not been in long and been watchin new top gear.

My pics of the meet are pretty much the same as Sat's so i won't repost a load of them. I'm afraid the quality isn't great as my camera decided to pack up when i checked it this morning before we set off.

Inters was a good day out. Went down with a few guys and girls from the High Peak VAG club. Most of the pics are of their cars but there are one or two others which kinda stood out.

Spent most of the journey from Buxton down to Bruntingthorpe trying to keep up with this:

Its been played about with so it's putting out 450bhp, Jules did take it down the strip this afternoon but i'd already set off for brum so don't know what sort of times he managed.

Fantastic morning really. Weather had brightened up by the time we got down there, even if it was a little windy. 300 miles covered, got to have some sideways fun on the airstrip at brunty, and topped it off with an afternoon drooling over M3's, CSL's, and having my ears damaged by Sonny's new sub install. Sounds great mate.

Having sat in and had a good look round RahRah's CSL just makes me want one even more. Ozzie's ///M looks as good in the flesh as it does in the photo's. Hats off to the body shop who did the work, and to Roy for supplying all the parts, and to Ozzie for payin for it all! Good to meet you guys and both very very nice motors.

Nice to see Mike & Sat again and meeting RahRah's little brother, even if he did think CSL bootlids were "gay". :D

Some nice dubs.. me and my brother was both in to the dub scene a few yrs ago.. am still tempted by a mk5 ed30 but will have to wait yet.. and marty your car just looks like a might fine example of how 330 coupes should look.. and love the angels they look nice even in the day time :p

p.s. wonder who owns the mk5 with the retrim now.. as i know the previous member was apart of uk-mkivs (who was a uni student iirc) who had the plate MK5 2 TUF but i remember him selling it a good 6 months or so back but i was sure he had sold the interior seperately before hmmm but either way its a stunning looking mk5.. and that 4mo's quite tasty.. and your mates Audi RS4 is :cool:

The 4 motion is owned by one of my neighbours, and it looks and sounds excellent, those wheels are only on it during the summer but i'm sure he must polish them daily! The MkV was been driven by a bird, didn't speak to her but she arrived alone and had dissapeared by the time i came back to get my car.

Cheers for the comments on the car. I love the angel eyes on the facelift, and the quality is fantastic, not had any problems with them at all. The M3 is gonna have to wait at least a couple of years while my missus is doing her masters, just got to try and keep the modding down to a minimum on the clubsport and save as much cash as i can for trade up time. As soon as she finishes uni i'm gonna get one before even more of my cash gets caught up in a bigger mortgage.

And you're right, the RS4 is most definately cool, when we were overtaking on the way over to Chesterfield the gap between us just kept increasing as he floored it. :)

Is that the mk1 RS4 or the latter?? as i think it would be a bit late to start sueing them now..

Also if i was buyin a mk1 RS4 to modify i.e. upgrade id personally just go for a S4 as its the same block etc all it is, is that the turbos on the S4 iirc are KO3 or KO3's turbos i.e. the ones from the mk4 gti 150/180bhp and the RS4 runs the KO4's instead which is the one from the mk1 S3 so either way the turbos are going to get replaced for upgrade jobbies as are the brakes and handling..

the csl has definetly shocked me to the core...i was expecting the car to be a bit better than a normal m3..but blumming heck its light and day...the difference is stunning....and the noise is amazing!

was really cool driving in convoy, lots of looks and stares...especially on that beautiful white m3 vert! Styler your car rocks!
