My Clubsport, engine wise is std + Cai induction kit with an auto box. Should I get a re-map & what would be the likely result - Is it worth it ?
Appreciate your thoughts

It is always worth getting your ride re-mapped. It may not always be a case of noticeable (forced into the back of the seat) acceleration, but what it will do is smooth out the power curve and help the engine rev a little free-er. It will be noticeable. I have always had my cars re-mapped (and have used a variety of companies). I have always been pleased with the results. The more noticeable re-maps were the ones done on turbo'd cars, but I am still very happy with the gains and pick up of my 328.

Do it! You won't be disappointed.

Raj,
Thanks for the advice, Simon did the re-map today @ the e36coupe.com meet @ Leisure West, Feltham.
Wow, what a difference, pulls cleanly now right thro the rev range to the top which is is now 6500rpm with no limiter.[ok
Anyone now how or where I can get a rollin road test for an auto, is it possible ?

I took my E46 M3 there, and they couldn't do it. The DSC kept cutting in at 5k revs. It's because the rear wheels are moving and the fronts are static. I don't know if it will affect the 330.

E46 M3 is known to misbehave on dynos but the 330 is OK. Just turn the DSC off completely (stage 2). My old Clubsport with an SSG gearbox was dynoed at Powerengineering in Uxbridge and readings were consistent.

Mike, no problemo mate. Glad you are as satisfied with the job, as I was. Knew you wouldn't be disappointed.

As for the rolling road, autos are no problem at all. AmD are very reputable but costly. Just ring around. The only thing will be that as you didn't get the car done before it won't really tell you that much (as a lot of rolling roads are not accurate). Rolling roads are better for before and after dyno plots of mods and the like, but you deffo need to use the same one each time.
