Hi guys
Some of u might remeber that i was here about a month ago looing for my new BMW and guess what it still hasnt turned up after obssesively checking the Autotrader every single day.
I am after a 320ci Sport facelift model, Auto, with Cream leather. I would like a darkcolour. Is that asking to much? Am i being to picky?
What do people think in general about the Silver coulour it seems to look a lot harder then black as one cant really see the body kit if its simply black. Mystic Blue seems nice opinions please.
Also what sort of price should i be paying for the spec i am looking for. Milegage should be less that 20,000
Thanks a lots guys please help

It doesn't sound like you are being that picky but I don't really know what the market is like for E46s at the moment. Last I heard is there are plenty about so wait for the right one, it'll be out there eventually.
Mystic blue is nice, you can see it on Teddy's and Peppernick's M3s. A good black example would be Black Sabbath's or Lee's. Can't think of a good silver example but whatever colour you get it will look nice.
Just bide your time and don't compromise, you will regret it later if you do.
Good luck with the car hunt.
Shuriken.

Im the same, mate - be choosy, plenty of cars out there! Seem to be a few on BMWs site, but seem quite expensive for a 2.0 - think its because its a fairly new engine opton?
How ABout This One? (http://tinyurl.com/dvdhq)
Or This One? (http://tinyurl.com/b67hr)
Im the same, looking for the right 330Ci Sport but Ive decided to spend a bit more after looking at quite a few - now holding out for a facelifted Estoril Clubsport with good spec thats not priced out of all reality by a greedy main dealer!

It's a lot more difficult to find a Sport model with cream interior in the guise of a 2.2L. With the quantity of used/nearly new of 325/330s out there, not many people would cough up the money for a 320 Sport. Also, 320 buyers are usually not particular about the Sport package and they are certainly not fussy about interior as long as one that is conventionally accepted by the mass public, ie:black. Also, many 320 buyers will not pay extra for a steptronic. You may have better luck looking for a similar car in the guise of a 325 or 330. The original buyers are more willing to spend and hence, you get better spec and more interior variation.

Thanks peppernick and Mike.
I coudnt agree with you anymore peppernick initally i focused on 320 due to insurance worries as i am 23. But i got a decent quote for 325 so have now broadened my search. Dealer prices seem outrageous up to 23,000 when similarly spec cars can be had for arnd 20,000.
What is a good price for a 325 sport with leather and auto guys. Dnt wanna get ripped as it is my first proper car?

BMW dealer has on offer a 325 ci sport, leather, auto, 17,000 miles 2003 facelift model for 20,700 pounds
Is this a good price?
How much should i haggle? What options could i ask him for?

not that clued up on the prices even though it seems pretty good to me! when it comes to haggling i'd say look at getting 5-10% off the asking price, but 10% is alot and you would do well to get that, especially from a dealer!

So am I but its 330 all the way! 6 yrs NCB, no points and insurance will be £540 FC for me. As Peppernick says, there seem to be many more 325cis on BMWs site than 320cis of the spec you are looking for, and I am sure the insurance difference will be pretty small?
