Like Nass, I have decided to take the plunge and get some lowering springs. However, I have received some info from various sources that has just resulted in total confusion at my end.

Right, want to lower a 330ci Sport. I am doing it to improve cosmetics and to firm up the body roll a bit. I will go for either the Eibach Pro or Sportline Kit.

1. Which is best?
2. Which is lower?
3. Which is firmer?

Finally, will my std Sport shock be up to the job?

I thank you.

1. No such thing as "best" between the pro-kit or sportline as they are just different grades of the same thing.
2. Sportline
3. Sportline
4. Std shock life will be reduced by about 40% but that's a good time to upgrade to coilovers.

dude have had the same prob but after talking to the pros (joe hyper turismo, kav and fas) u have to think wot u want, sprtline is def da lowest 1, cos joe sed it wud dek my car and iv got a 316i with stanard suspension not even sport suspension. So if ur feeling ride height go for the sport line but be prepared for a bumpy ride. I wanted the sportline kit and have been pursuaded into getin the pro kit which i think is betta to help u make betta decission jus look at fas and kavs cars there on the pro kit and der ride height is beutiful. Hope iv bin of help and havnt confusd u. U got and expensive car it s best to keep in top condition. :D

dude i would go for the pro kit you shocks are already shorter i'.e the pistion will be a bit smaller then the standard ones so the pro kit will give you the deseribale ride hide the back will not drop that much the front drops enough to give u no gap (only a small one) between the tyres. If the back is not low enough remover the top rubber monting between the sprint (leave the lower one otherwise the noise is quite bad. Wait till durgesh gets his cup kits and just buy his eibach springs they were orignall off nicks car then i fiited them to digs car maybe you can buy them from him and get them fitted :-) there progrsively wound so ride quality is still wicked and the mrs won't complain is she does swap her in for one that makes less noise :D

Nick had sportline which I personally thought was the nicest drop on a coupe
