Right - the E46 320cd is asking for a remap and who am I to say no.
I've had a quick looky online and there are TONS available but I'm at a loss as to what to go for.
I'll be honest I'm not looking for loads of power - extra torque and better mpg is what I am after and there are plenty that seem to offer this. But do they REALLY offer better mpg? Tuning boxes / remaps etc.... not bothered which I don't think?? Am I?? lol
Any advice / links etc appreciated.
Justin is looking into getting me some info for a local lad up here that can do them but just want some extra info for comparison's sake :p (Cheers Justin!! :) )

I had mine done by Simon at E-maps. I believe a number of other members have as well.
You could always approach Roy @ CA also :)

Increase in torque sounds fantastic! Give me a call mate to discuss price ;)
Also is MPG def going to be better with normal driving via these? Is it a remap or a tuning box of sorts?
Sorry for all the Q's! First diesel car lol :p

id be wary in regards to the e46 320 derv engines as iirc the earlia engines mentioned above also (the 136bhp engines) are meant to have a common fault with the turbos i.e. blowing up afaik.. so id be wary if i was remapping the earlia engine but if it is the latter engine then go for it bud :D also in regards to remaps don't know much about beemer remaps but as i remember from a meet that i went to with my brother e-maps is meant to be quite well known..

If you want the best out of remaps dont go for generic software go for custom mapping as the map is tailored to your car..

Simon + another 1, had my 330CI done....Silky Smooth and improve mpg
I used AmD for the 330d, but have used Simon before and also QST and Jabbasport. As long as you don't got for a tuning box (because they are crap), then gains will be very similar.
