Can it be done or are all the lines wrong for it to fit?
If so does anyone do a replica M3 bonnet for the coupe, just that I like the bonnet bulge a lot [bang

You will need to modify the side wings on your non-M to suit the M3 bonnet. The side lines are different but the rest )mounting, locking mechanism etc) are the same.

peppernick, what part of the wings would need modifying, or is there a m3 copy bonnet made for the coupe?

So basically the Bonnet will sit higher than the wings right nick? so how can you modify the Wings to accomodate the M3 bonnet?

by the time you have spent all the money buying the OEM M3 bonnet and correcting it, it'll be way more expensive than buying one of Our Vorsteiner GTR bonnet :)
The choice is yours :) I looked in to doing this with my previous 330ci convertible but gave up in the end.

maybe if you bought a original replacment bonnet, but buying a secondhand off a crash damaged will come in @ half the cost of a Vorsteiner GTR eg
Vorsteiner GTR - £954 + delivery
Painting & fitting in region £400
Therefore £1354 all in
Second hand M3 bonnet - £150 - 200
Fitting & spraying in region £450
Therefore £600 - 650 all in
This is my opinion and although the Vorsteiner GTR is a nice CF bonnet I do not like the big vents either side.

Nope it's just the gap is wider at the front so needs the wings modding to move futher inwards at the front of the bonnet.

if u buy me the vorstiener one u can have mine :):) lol... try eurocar parts???
If it's crash damaged that the bonnet is off, then get the wings as well. No having to modify the wings then plus you get the vents/wider arches and a perfect fitment. That's just my 2ps worth.

hi guys
basically you CAN get a near perfect finish byfitting an M3 bonnet to coupe , but you need to space out the wings in and upward .
We personally have not done this but Frank , a good customer and BMW bodywork repairer has , a few times , and the result is awesome .
I have pice somewhere on PC but just cant find them.
However , please note that the Vorsteiner gtr hoods as stocked by CA and SSDD are only for M3 fitment just now ( again allowing you to fit to coupe with some work ) , but will soon be available for dedicated coupe fitment ; then in about 2 months they are releasing an un vented M3 style bonnet without vents , for M3 and coupe fitments ,
4 door fitment also in pipeline .
hope this helps
