it is quite straight forward to install it with minimal functionality, but it depends on on how far you want to go with it. I have a M5 gear knob that I bought to install on my M3 SMG to, just figuring out how to illuminate the gears on the M5 knob when i put the SMG into manual mode bit confusing.

Thats what put me off Styler, it seems it can be done but whenever you change gear the illumination will go out for a moment as the live feed is lost. There must be a way of overcoming that with a capacitor or something `tho ?

M5 steering wheel looks a little "fiddly" :p

you can do it, i might give it ago :D K down at xquisite said he may do it for me can always ask Andy to. Illumination on manual shift depends if your car says 0 or N for neutral apparently.

Nice one Styler. That DIY looks a lot easier to follow than the earlier one I saw (which mentioned the lights would flash while changing gear in S mode).

Anyone want to buy a C/F CSL knob. :D
