welcome to the forum Pete [hiya There's nothing ricey about 200sx, in fact they're more tuneable than BM's:)

Yeah I had done a fair few mods to mine and had it dynod at 290bhp. But ive been swayed back to BMW quality and refinement. :) Just fancied something a bit different with the Nissan and to be fair to it was a good car.

Hi petef [cool , I too have just come from the 200sx brigade (S13) which was tuned to approx 250bhp and would keep up with a M3 but luxury & refinement called so I invested in a E46 330Ci

Thanks for the welcomes guys. I had an S14a version was a regular on www.sxoc.com a great website for the SX.

Will be looking round the forum for some ideas on a few mods. Probably be mostly cosmetic at the moment. Is the 2.2 very tunable ?

Cheers

Everythings tunable......just depends on how much ££££ you want to spend:)

Yeah I know what you mean and after the initial purchase of the car Im not gonna have loadsa spare cash but always good to know what sort of things people do to theirs so I can see if I can convince the Mrs that I really need to spend the money on some mods ;)

What do most do to the 2.2's ? or just stick to styling mods ?

Cheers

Pete, do you know Big Tone/y, Stu (B16SXT) and Martyn (Theory) from sxoc? Martyn acutually sits only 10 yards from my desk at work and I think he's just gone past the 300bhp mark:)

in terms of modding, as Lee says if u have wads of cash, sky's the limit but in comparison with S13/14s, BM's more styling than performance tuning.

Saw BigTone's name on a few posts don't know them directly mate. I went to a few of the Midlands meets and met MattyGee, Jacko and a few others.

Yeah Im just stickin with styling mods I think for the moment on the bimmer.

Cheers

Welcome to the forum, be warned, your wallet could be in for some exercise.
Suggestions are:-
Induction kit - CAI
Styling bits such as splitters, bumpers, LED lights, new ears, clear lights & bulbs, wheels, lowering, strut brace etc
That's enough for the 1st week Lol
Let's see some pics of your new ride when you get it !
