It was my 21st Birthday last weekend, just thought i would show you my latest birthday mod, from my sister bless her, My new Reg, hope you all like it, at least you will now all 'C' me coming :D :D :D

What mirrors are those? Are they the M5 replica's that teddy sells, they look perfect, as if it came from the factory like it....

The replica M mirrors are exact replicas of the M5 mirrors. The M3 ones are slightly smaller and more oval. The M5 ones are more bulky.

Yep I think you are right, but for the money, they are a good quality item and I think they look very similar to the M3 ones. To the un-trained eye these mirrors look the same as the originals.

Being a student and only just 21 it is very hard to run an 03 plate 325 sport, which i have only had for 6 months and trying to mod it to a high standard at the same time. Therefore i believe if i can buy good quaility replica products at a very good price, I shouldnt be looked down upon but looked up to; as all of us are trying to modify our cars to an excellent standard with the financial backing available to us.

My Bmw is very unique, just like everyone else, there are many similar modified cars but no 2 the same, thats what makes them unique!

I am very lucky to be driving my Bmw at such a young age (being my third to date) just like we all are and i hope to own many more as i am older!

Nicely said Hamann. I think sometimes it's easy to overlook just how lucky we are to be able to have these cars. Maybe not so much for the older guys amongst us, but for the younger guys it is amazing how quickly you get used to the high quality of BMWs and tend to take it for granted. Modded or not, these are still fine automobiles and deserve our utmost respect in every aspect of their being.

Nah not taking the piss, just saying that compared to the ACS mirrors they are big. They sit totally differently to the M3 replicas so the mirror is shorter in width and also sits closer to the mount.

Just jealous coz you can see the M3 before it overtakes you :cool:

Cool, i know what you mean, a bit like the old m3 mirrors from the e36, i had them on my e36 coupe, now that was a job parking lol lol, i bet you have gr8 fun to?

Sorry, didn't see this post before I posted above.

I'm not saying they look shite. All I'm saying is that they are big compared to the ACS ones. You probably find that the M3 mirror is as wide from the car as the feckin' "elephant ears" that we have all removed. The ACS ones have a much shorter width. Ask anyone who's fitted the ACS mirrors, coz you can't see shit once you've done the change.

However, although in my opinion the ACS ones look better, when fitting them, you've probably fucked the electrics, broken 12 panel clips, snapped a couple of connectors and just found the hardest and most fiddly cable connectors, of which there are 24, and you've just bust them all. Well, I did.
