New E36 M3 Member Saying Hi!

Just registered on the site as mistasmiff referred me here and saying hi to you all! [hiya

I bought a techno violet '96 M3 Convertible in June of last year! I spent 6 months searching for a decent example. Unfortunately it's spent 5 months of this year at a BMW dealers having new seals and hood repairs!!! It's almost right but is going to another dealer for the work now since I lost confidence with 1st lot! Just needs the hood to operate smoothly as sometimes on opening the rear roof catches the lid opening to store the hood under.

Apart from that I've been pleased with it!

Sadly I have been paying for the repairs... £2.5k including the recent inspection II... So after that sort of cost I'm not happy that the dealer hasn't fixed it!! I'm reluctant to sent it back in as I've missed driving it! 5 months is a long time :eek:

I'm still a big fan of estoril blue but the techno has grown on me!

lee330sport - Yes that was my car on Mig. I used to have a Calibra 4x4 Turbo before getting the M.

Thanks Shuriken. Hopefully the second (more helpful) dealership will fix my car when it goes back in on Thursday.

Lee - I'll try and attend the meet but as yet unable to confirm if I can make it on that date. I'm right by J4 of the M6 tho. I'll prob know halfway through next week.
