M3 failed MOT on emissions

Car failed the NCT (MOT to you guys) at the weekend on Lambda emissions, and rear tyre but thats just an excuse to order my new wheels :)

Anyhoo, Lambda reading was 2.276, should be between 0.97 and 1.03 ! Tester reckons theres a leak in the exhaust system which is causing it but couldn't find it.

Car is currently in the garage but they cannot trace any leaks in the system and there are no faults showing up on diagnostics !

Anyone any ideas ??

Nope, everything is completely standard on the car !

Get the emissions tested from another garage to be sure before spending a few hundred troubleshooting.

Had the car tested by 2 garages yesterday and emissions came in spot on. No faults on diagnostics either. Can only assume its the test centres machine.

Have booked it in for a re-test, fingers crossed !
