Hi guys.

Not gonna get a quad - to much money/hassle.
Going for a normal back box, twin exit.

Problem is what one to get?
My car is SOOOO quite at tick over, i want it to 'purr/growl' a bit more!
want it to sound a bit 'beefy' under acceleration.
What should i go for? last exhaust i had (on e36) was a scorpion and was to loud!!!

Need suggestion's!!!

Thanks...

Just posted to your other thread. Eisenmann is a top choice (and customer service is second to none). I had a custom one off made as I am sooo fussy, and I wanted one that was slightly quieter than there lowest sound level. So they made me one with perforated inners for the tips. Sorry about the large size pics but..

I haven't had any experience with Eisenman in my own car(s) but depending on which one you go for they can be loud - probably too loud from what I have heard for my liking.

If you want a more subtle sound that burbles on idle and then when you give it some beans it gives a nice throaty roar - I can highly recommend Supersprint. The quality is excellent and the sound and overall performance is awesome!

I have recently put one of these on my car and am loving it!

A word on Eisenmann , following Singh 330 post ....
all Eisenmans are custom built to YOUR order , INCLUDING sound level .
Thanks to our work on Raj 's order , we can now offer a fourth superquiet sound level
Most customers opt for middle level , a good compromise , not too boomy at motorway and town speeds but a nice howl when the throttles get open :)

you get at least 10 % off webprices as a forum member

letme know if I can help further here ....

I'm thinking if doing this mod in a couple of months and I'm going to get essimann , so is it better to get of here or from where they are made (germany I think?)? or main dealer?

Roy will correct me, but I think Roy can sought you out with everything and just get it shipped direct to you from Germany. Not sure if they deal direct with the public anyway [hmm .

Apologies - Just goes to show how much I know about Eisenmann's! They do look very impressive, I went for the supersprints due to to such High recommendations from past owners.

Roy - in your opinion how do they compare to Supersprint? as in performance, quality and comparison in price etc.

no problem Singh , was not having a go , just letting you all have accurate info .

Supersprint are good no doubt , but Eisenmann is better I believe :

- ALL systems stainless inside AND out , SS are mostly ( BUT NOT ALL ) aluminised mild steel
- Better grade of stainless used
- Eisenmann make oem factory exhausts for all new Porsche cars !!
- And Alpina ...
- And Brabus ....
- And ....well , you get the idea :D

Cool, thats some useful info mate - have I made the wrong choice? I think I will definately further investigate Eisenmann on my next car. Or God forbid If I get bored of the Supersprint!

Thanks for that Roy.

only thing that has stopped me getting an eismann is will a double tip fit in the space on my 318ci sport rear i dont think it will?

hmmm come to think about it i remember someone having to get the rear diffuser slightly cut to accomadate twin pipes.

Raj

You should be able to just change the diffuser to a 6pot one. Mine are 76mm twin pipes and there is plenty of room for the tips. Where there's a will there's a way ;) .

Also , eisenmann provide a template with their exhausts to mark and cut the oem valance to suit .

On e36 cars just as easy to get a M3 style rear deff. with double opening for exhaust ....

Sorry Matt you can't have it, I'm still lovin it!
And it should fit mate, I believe all 330 Supersprints are the same fitment, whether thet saloon, coupes or even Diesels!

Just my luck tho, I don't have a 'normal' 330. Because mine was probably one of the very first production runs, it actually has loads of 328 parts on it, including the exhaust!! Well at least that means that it will be a little cheaper ;).

FYI , matt your car has M52 engine with single connecting pipe to back box , later models have M54 with two connecting pipes

Eisenmann offer exhausts for both :)

thanks
