The moment every parent dreads, is when you get that phone call in the middle of the night, happened to us last Sunday.

My son Sam called to say that he had had an accident, was OK, quite shaken up and just about to go to hospital in the ambulance.

The great news is he's OK apart from a cut and bruising to his right forehead and a severly dented pride & wallet.

& the car................ RIP, I'm afraid.................. subject to confirmation, it's a write off !! :(

For those of you who met him @ the last South Mimms - here's the link for an update.

Damn, glad he is ok. Not the best kind of news to be woken up to. The car looked like a minter too.

The main thing is he's ok. As I always say. Cars can be replaced, lives can't

I'm glad your son is ok. the car is replaceable anyway so maybe he should de-mod his car if he hasn't declared them:)

I read that post a few days back, didn't realise he's your son. Glad to hear hes OK. Cars can be replaced, people can't. :)
