Finally got em fitted today, and wow!:cool: . Doing 60-5mph hard braking one after the other, made me so dizzy.lol These things are awsome. Way better than the Hi-spec and 6pot wilwood brakes ive had on other cars, these are in a different league. Had to fit eibach 10mm spacers to fit so the front wheels look better too.

Some pics of other mods too, rear strutt and a recent engine pic. Just waiting for a full set of custom made yellow hoses now for the engine bay.:cool:

1 question though guys, should i match the rear caliper up in yellow or wait till the rear BBK is released for the rear, for now i just have matching 320mm discs.

Paul - New mirrors and ACS roll cage are next.

Uberbmw - Bumper is an M3 bumper, just a retrofit.

Afif - Brake bias should be ok, ive got the stoptech 320mm grooved discs on the rear with new axxis ultima pads and braided hoses, should be ok until the BBK is released.

I would say get them painted yellow to match the fronts until the BBK is released. Get them painted will not cost much at all (plus it will only be until you can get your hands on that all important BBK).

yeah! wicked mate.. looks really menacing.. black on black with the yellow calipers... how close is the rear bbk due? if its a 6mths+ I'd get some yellow caliper paint and finish it off, got afew shows/days coming, plenty of pics etc.. front wheel looks very nice with the spacer setup! does it affect the front tramlining under load with the new brakes much? looking good though! Ok, im gonna paint the rears to match for now until the rears are released. Whats best? I dont really wanna powdercoat because ill lose the car for a while.

Haven't noticed an increase in tramlining but then i haven't driven it much since last night.

No idea mate, ive been on so many different rolling roads and get different results everytime. I only use them now to compare mods ive had. Will get one once my new pulley, headers and new exhaust go in.

I've heard the foliatec caliper paint from halfords (2 stage setup) is pretty good and cheapo around 20quid, can take quite a high temp, but for rears should plenty..

yep, those elee-phant ears are nasty dude.. certainly messes up the overall car.. but then again i know where ya coming from, power mods always come first!!! :D :D
