Saw a silver M5 today whilst at a set of lights as I was on my way to a customer in slough. That thing has HUGE road presence and is stunning. Managed to give the owner a thumbs up and we both got away from the lights quickly and he obliged by putting 507 bhp down on to the tarmac for me. WHAT A NOISE, and how fast!!!!!!!!! I seriously need to save some pennies  . Sorry for the terrible pictures but all I had was my T630 camera phone and two photos were taken into the sunlight but I now have proof that I have seen one :D .

I was on the lookout for a black slammed 318cic but you were no where to be found ;) , spent the best part of the morning and afternoon freezing my plums off in a data centre doing a few server installs :( . so seeing the M5 was a nice bonus.

I have been in one. Awesome. The seats grip you the harder you go round a corner.
Take a look at the brakes. They are HUGE.

Saw the original blue one that Tiff Niddell tested on TG in Cosham, nr Portmouth about 2 weeks ago being thrashed of the lights by a salesman presumably as it was a dealer demo. Sounded Oh so SweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeT :D [read [read [read [read

To be honest, when I walked up to the car, it didn't look that much different to the standard 530. It's quite subtle.

Hopefully we'll be seeing a few more about on the road soon. I wanna see them in real life as I'm not sure on the design still, I think the M5 may look better.
Shuriken.
ps. mystic, which datacentre were you at? I'm nosey :p...

The rear end and the brakes are what grabbed my attention, big road presence but as said, very subtle. Got to say I love it.

I was at centrica and I think the building is called JGC on the slough trading estate, work for sun microsystems so spend pretty much most of my working life freezing said plums off in data centres throughout london and the south east :( .
cool.. the e60 m5 is pretty good.. brakes aren't too bad for a std setup.. but I've seen bigger :D hhehe love the new gizmos he now has! [ok

I got to drive the dealers demo last week in Manchester, they were so impressed with my car i let them drive it so they returned the favour. Couldnt get used to the SMG box, really wierd and hard to get smooth changes. They do have way more presence than a regular sport E60 though. Those rear tailpipes are huge.

Can't understand why people buy a car like that (or any other sports BM for that matter, but especially M5s) and specify lookalike wood finish. :( No doubt that it's a beautiful beautiful thing to hear though, the sound alone is worth the price tag..
