A great friend of mine runs a health and safety company. They are now starting to expand beyond office / workplace, car and emergency response training to specific motorcycle first aid training. They are running the first course with the details below. I know there's a few bikers on this forum, so hopefully will be something of interest.

React First is piloting a new 2 day motorbike first aid course on Saturday 31st May and Sunday 1st June in Central London, there is simply not enough time on a 1 day course!! It is an intense and practical, 2 days designed specifically to give bikers and their pillions the skills and confidence to deal with any incident and make the right decisions.

Heavy leathers, armour and helmets means that delivering essential lifesaving first aid to bikers is not straightforward, there are many additional considerations and potentially difficult decisions to be made. The most commonly asked question being "When do you remove someone’s helmet?". This and much more is dealt with in detail on the course.

The course costs £120. If you consider how much you spend on personal bike safety equipment like helmets and leathers its really not much for a set of skills that could help you to save someone’s life!
