Will was out celebrating as our national soccer team just guaranteed qualifying to the 2006 World cup finals in Germany with one game left , so had the Hazards light on for 4 hours :D people dancing screaming running int he streets. Having the hazard lights on for so long burnt the right indicator bulb which is silver bulb so it won't show that egg look , but I've got them from silverFusion ,I'm going to buy a temp replacement for both from the dealer , and I was wondering since I'm coming to London is there a place I could buy these for Faclift E46 without ordering through INTERNET ? I know teddy has got any for face lift.

Either take a trip to Teddy, or go down to any local Halfords, i'm sure they'll have them in stock.

will I couldn't edit as the time is too short :"Teddy hasn't got any", do they have them for facelift in halfords?

Went to the dealer to get temp replacement , and they have to get them from another branch in another city so they'll be with me on Saturday , the thing with Faclift indicator bulb (not sure about pre) is the place they are in , the left one is easy to remove and install , but the problem is in the right side.

There is the Windshield washer fluid tank which blocks it from coming, out the dealer is asking for 20GBP to replace that bulb ,but I'm not stupid:D, they want to remove the headlight to install it , I was looking in the engine bay and thought if I removed the washer tank I could easily install it by my self , so is there away to change it otehr than removing the headlight ,and if my idea works how many bolts are there for the tank as I only can see one at the top if thats the only one its going to be an easy job;)

I removed the headlight to do mine, only takes a few minutes to take the headlight out.

I have facelift plug in silver indicator bulbs in stock if it helps ....

awkward job but if you have thin hands you can just about get a grip on the polastic holder to give it a twist and pull it out , with h /lamps still fitted .

thnx

Will it seems my idea is best for removing the bulb , as removing that small tank is the way BMW recommends it , going to have a talk with the dealer tomorrow for trying to get some easy money of me , as a dealer they should of known this its actually written in the minor repair section which is repairs you can do by your self
