I have just ordered one today.

No real need for it at all, but my new head unit has a reverse camera input so I thought I might as well:D

My friend fitted one(pioneer HU) to his scooby... tbh it wowed me for about 5min then i thought it was useless, but then again he doesnt have parking sensors soo...

The same here. I have Alpine with a reverse input so thought about buying a camera.
£250 for Alpine camera put me off from buying it for the time being. :(

Yeah I have been thinking about doing this but I am going to make it look alot neater than that.

Or I might put it in the boot lock, but then I will have no way of getting in the car if the battery dies.

The advantage of having such camera is that its very easy to mod/de-mod
If you go for the boot lock one then its a pain in the arse. :mad:

My CCTV supplier can hook me up with most types of in car CCTV including Digital recording let me know if you need more info

Nick posted a quality euro E46 awhile back with a pimp install, had screen in the rear shelf I think showing reverse when you look back at it, find the link somewhere...

You can get wireless cams and recorders onto an sd card so could probably do something for you. What is it for ?
