Whilst awaiting the completion of my ICE set up, I've added this little trick to my to-do-list :D :D
Honda S2000 Big Red starter button.
Should be up and running by tomorrow once Andy completes my custom dash panel [cool
Ohhhh....first couple of pics with my new camera :D :D .......back to SLR quality [ok
hmm..very interesting nick.. nice to see you push the boundaries further [ok
would be interested in how the workings happen... do you still need the key in the ignition barrel?

Andy can wire it independent of the key ignition or on top of the key ignition. I I'll stick to the latter ;) ie: key in position 1 and fire. Just in case the switch dies I can still start the car with the key.

Let us know how you get on with wiring up the handbrake switch so that the start button is only active when the handbrake is on. I know this was tricky on a few cars, might be easy on a BMW though. [cool

I am having a custom dash panel made to mount my in-dash screen so the button will sit there in the middle, ala Aston Martin :D
Very interesting DIY instructions (http://members.shaw.ca/banana_bread/S2000DIY/s2000enginestartdiy.htm) ..........check it out [cool

I love Honda S2K starter buttons...
ps. the camera quality is awesome!
Very trick Nick. Will look sweet once it is done. Bet you can't wait to fire her up once that is fitted. Don't know if you have already but if not you want to get remote engine start done next (that's a great touch).
