Need some help people...

Have just bought a sport rear bumper for my 2001 vert. Will I be able to use all of my old fittings to secure the new bumper? Or will I have to get new mounts etc?

Here's a pic of the new one...

I am hopefully picking it tomorrow and then its off to be sprayed...

you'll be able to use your existing mounts and mounting points for the Sport bumper.

One question how have you bought it when it is still being bidded on or is the bidding rigged? [hmm as it does not finish for 5 days?

Looks much better IMO. Also got some new plates to freshen the car up as the old ones were fading. Will give the old girl a good clean tomorrow...

Total cost of this job was £280 which included the re-spray...

Very cool. The Mteh bumper makes such a big difference. Surprised you didn't take advantage of the respray and got the rear valance colour coded, but still looks pretty trick. Good job

Unfortunately when I bought the bumper the valance was separate. I had every intension of having it sprayed at the same time however just forgot to drop it off....

Anyway no harm done because I bought these little kiddies last week :

TBH I am getting married in August and hoping to get an M3 coupe at the end of the summer so my spending at the mo must be kept on a tight leash
