Hi people.
Wasn't originally gonna post this on the forum but i'll ask anyway.
I know we've got the 'vishrun' happenong soon but i dont really wanna do that as it seems like a lot of driving without seeing much of europe.
Anyway me and some of my friends are organising the following, the aim was to have a good experience round europe without doing to many miles so this is what we've come up with:
1 week in september; leave on 17th sep and come back on 24th sep.
*Leave on sat' morning and arrive in france at 13:00, drive to the nurburgring and arrive at approx 5pm, get a feel for the 'ring' and how it works, have a look round, maybe a lap or two - whatever basically. stay at a local hotel - track opens at 8am, straight down there first thing and spend the whole day there, stay at same hotel on sunday night.
(the next 3 nights is not definate but just an idea)
*Monday drive to prague and stay in prague for the night.
*Tuesday drive to munich and stay in munich for the night.
*Wednesday drive to milan/great lakes, stay there for the night.
*Thursday drive to monaco and stay there thursday and friday night (visit south of france - caen, marseille etc)
*Saturday drive to calais but stop for the night half way (paris or lyon or in between)
5 cars going so far, mine included. all 3's apart from one 5, and a CSL is probably going (95%)
Costs are as follows.
Ferry; £48 RETURN, dover to boulogne (car+2) best price anywhere!!! (speedferries)
Hotels; to be confirmed but will not be to expensive; probably about £30/£40 per night based on 2 sharing.
Petrol; 6-8 full tanks maybe more! depends how you drive, £250/£350?
If its a car+2 (split down the middle) gonna cost each person about £250/£350 + food/drink and other bits. (laps at nurburgring - £10 each 6 for £50 etc)
Could easily do the whole weekend on £500 per person.
And its not to much driving in one go.
Anyone up for it let me know. Need defo' answer's in by about 4 weeks time.
COULD ONE OF THE CREW POSSIBLY PUT THIS DOWN AS 'STICKY' - PLEASE
