Thats so annoying, after having the car in mid air for a while, the guy gave up and placed the car how it was!!
Is there any dents or scratachs on the car from that lifting?

isn't it a bit excessive to try and lift the whole car for 10 minutes of over time ?

"The bloke operating the lift got really pissed off with me when I took his picture, and looked like he was going to cry when someone walked up and thanked him for the entertainment.
You couldnt fucking make it up.
Where the fuck to they find these people to employ, a zoo? "

Just passed it onto my local garage who do recoveries for AA and RAC and other insurance companies...
The MD was just flabbergasted!!!
I wonder if anyone paid for the damage? Also your evidence could be used in court! so nice one for taking the pics lad!!
see what happens when you dont have the 50:50 weight distribution of an BMW.
jokes aside that is crazy. best thing is the councils employ monkeys, who mess up the job and pass the liability cost back to the tax payer. the worst part about it was the fact that they just walked away at the end. fine people make mistakes but walking away form the scene putting the car back where it was requires a jail sentence in my opinion. its the same as someone keying your car, kicking a dent in and walking away.

That is about right for Ontime recovery as well, fwiw they are also know locally as Anytime or Sometime :) :) .Its not easy to 4 wheel lift a parked car because of the weight distribution, but generally it wont pick up straight from the outset,so adjustments need to made as soon as its lifted. Not quite sure how he got to that angle before it all went wrong, but he certainly compounded his error.I would seriously be chasing that through the courts as all recovery is supposed to be damage free.Muppets
