i'm nearly crying :( from the looks of it.. hit a tree / lampost shaped thing with front wing/wheel... and the rear wheels hit a kerb???

if i had to guess rear tyre burst and that was the bit of the alloy which hit the ground and with all that weight it just broke [hmm.

very sad :( :( :( , Maybe he was speeding on a trun and the car slided a cross hitting a kerb and the tree

insurance company probably won't pay out cause the owner failed to declare the go faster M stickers:)

i dont personally think so :p. If it hit a tree it would have STAYED with the tree. I doubt they would have gone to the hassle of placing it in the middle of the road for that long it to take pictures [hmm. Also the impact looks more centered around the area on the wing about the headlamps height ;).

Heres my conspiracy theory :D I reckon a rear tyre burst causing him to swerve into some kind of truck hence why the damage is so bad. Meanwhile his rear alloy had broke due to hitting the road so hard and sliding across it :cool:.

No ms paint picture to illustrate though :p.

Saw this pic posted on another forum! That car was crashed in Sweden apparantly.

here the story behind it

The car is a dealer demo car but was immediately sold to a customer (though the dealer has to keep the demo car for at least 3 months).

So the car is still registered to the dealer and owned by BMW Financial Services (so the dealer still can get the extra demo rebate from BMW Sweden).

But, the owner had lent the car to his neighbour who hasn't a driving license and he states a friend was driving the car when the accident happened.

I guess the police and the insurance company have a lot to investigate. According to witness and the local newspaper it was in a race with another car.

The car has already been involved in some illegal street races - hence the stickers.

[crackmeup. You have to have no braincells to allow someone without a license to have a go in a spanking new M5 with you sitting next to them let alone lend it [bang.
