so where could I get the color coded one , from teddy?
lol I thought you had £100k to spend on a new motor :D
Note to myself...must read post more carefully.
get the acs strut, improves handling for that quick blast.
so where could I get the color coded one , from teddy?
Either do it yourself or get a local bodyshop to do it. Shouldnt be much :). Maybe get the black one and if you dont like it get your original ones sprayed then you can truly decide :D.
I'd have to agree with a lot of the other peeps:
1. Strut Brace - for the handling and looks when you open the bonnet.
2. Black Kidneys - from the pic Afif provided, looks sweet on silver
3. M3 rear boot lip spoiler - can be bought in conjuction with no. 2 for your budget (so you get a couple of goodies for your cash  )

The strut brace is out as its out of the budget, going for black kidney grills and I'll fit them if I don't like them I'll paint them .
The lip spoiler I could buy from teddy but does't look original whats the diffrence between the one he sells and the BMW one?

so here is what I'll bring back from london with me :
1.CCFLs angel lights
2.Silver gauge rings
3.Black kidney grills
4.lip spoiler from teddy (painted , unpainted don't know yet)

The lip spoiler teddy sells is near identical to OEM, shouldn't have any problems with it. Seems you have a pretty good selection of mods to be getting on with.
Do you already have pedals? A worthwhile mod in itself and should be in your budget. Get the matching handbrake cover as well.

BTW. Lipo spoiler on a vert ;)

What about a metal mesh front like BigFas, have not seen any one mentioned this one.

I have the normal bumper for facelift ,and maybe adding sillver to a silver car at the front will just make it all siver ,if you know what I mean ;), thanx for the effort any way this thread might give other people ideas for modding
I wouldn't go with the metal mesh on Silver especially if you are gonna get black/colour coded kidneys.

the list I gave above was my final list for mods,I'm going to buy from SSDD Motorsport/Teddy:
1.CCFLs
2.Black kidney grill
3.Silver guage rings for insrument cluster
4.M3 lip spoiler
But the question is sould the car be there so the spoiler could be painted ?and How good is Teddy's painter?
lee330sport
07-06-2005, 07:13 AM
On older cars its best to have the car there with the painter to get a good colour match, as paint can change over time. But as your cars quite new there shouldnt be a problem in matching your paint. But to be on the safe side, id get it painted back home.

just bee on the phone with the dealer(they have a really good painter) , and they are going to fit and paint the spoiler for 40 GBP , and they are going to fit the CCFLs for me for and check if the xenons need any alingment after fitting an correct for the same price and I'll be helping them fit it ,I'm going to fit the silver gauge rings my self , and tghe only thing left is the the Black kidney grill , How do you fit it ?
lee330sport
07-06-2005, 11:31 AM
£40 for paint and fitting is an excellent price, cant go wrong there.
The grill has 4 clips on the back of each one, just use a flathead screw driver to unclip them. 5 mins job.
