White M3...

[M5 SC]

Was down the local dealership last night looking at the cars and decided to go round the back and see what they had hiding away!!!
In the middle of the gravel car park sat a STUNNING white M3! no plates so assume it was new. looked SOOOO good in the flesh.
Never liked white cars but that M3 has changed all that.
Got about 10 pictures on my phone, i'll get them on here later if i can figure out how to do it!!!

What is with white M3's then? Is there only a limitied amount produced/in the country?

Saw a gorgeous white 330 on Friday lunchtime going the other way thru town when I left Teddy's, right nice lass driving it aswell, I almost turned round and gave chase lol :cool: Get the pics up dude, if only cos I wanna see Nick lose control of his dribble and mess up his keyboard haha :D

It's a trend thing and in the UK, the herd instinct when it comes to buying cars is too ingrained in the buying population. Hence, the number of silver and black cars on the road, because everybody plays safe. White cars are stunning but you have to keep it clean, and it's not more difficult to keep clean than a black car but it's perceived to be. Dealer's are not keen on white cars because they can't turn them around quick enough.

the 7 series in white is selling allot here even a couple of 6er ,but white doesn't suite any car ,some cars will look good in certain colors

i was soooo close getting my m3 in white,, but then thought about re-sale etc... i love em absolutely love em.. and the 5 and the 6 all look totally spanking in 'alpine white' mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

I think if they car has a decent kit on with some nice bits it looks nice in white, as per that ACS 6 series that was floating around a while back.

White is very popular in the US but here it has the stigma of a 'base' colour or ex police car; its almost a 'non' colour I suppose? Which is a shame, because it often looks stunning on cars where people have taken the plunge.

As said its a shame people follow the herd over here; Im sick to death of the number of silver E46s I come across in my search, it looks great but its popularity spoils it for me
