There is no specific CAI designed for the 2.0 valvetronic engine, but fas has one ,so it can be modified, but I have a couple of questions :

1. What kind of modifications, and are they reversible?
2.as you know in middle east in the summer it reaches to 50C so its pretty hot , and sometimes dusty, is there a problem in fitting one.
3.Could fitting this cause any damage to the engine or cause any problems to the car?
4. what are the gains of such a mod ,other than that beautiful sound :D ?

Thanks guys :)

Reversibility may be an issue as you need to cut out the stock airbox. In really dusty conditions you will need to clean the filter more often. CAI is sheilded so don't think there's a significant difference with heatsoak. Your engine will be 100% OK if the CAI desn't fall off and is bolted on properly. Performance gain is pretty much minimal on your car.

I asked the service manger about some of the mods I'm planing , and he was ok with fitting CCFL and he said they could fit them for me for 40 pounds and any alignment needed for xenon lights, the silver gauge rings he was ok with , even changing the exuahst system ,but the CAI he didn't approve as he said its too risky for our weather as we have alot of particals and dust ,and this thing could void warranty for the whole car .

You need to discard these and modify the actual CAI itself and amke your own coupling for the MAF meter.

got the idea out of my head now , but when I hears Fas's car in the video ,its so awesome ,how much % would you say the CAI is responsible for , and the exhaust system?

50/50 I would say. If you go for an exhaust, you'll be fine, it'll still make an awesome sound, but for me, the 2 together works really well

Unfortunately the mods you make to get it to fit are non-reversible. It's all or nothing

Fas do you have a sound clip of the exhuast only ?
and what did you change in the exhuast the rear box(muffler is it called?) only ?
or did you change that middle pipe as well?

The intake went on first, so don't have a clip of exhaust only.

Only the rear silencer was replaced, the centre pipe is still in place. I want to remove the centre pipe but don't know anyone that can do it.
