is there any way to get my alarm to beep when arming and dis arming, just im always double checking making sure i locked it, if it beeped id know with out looking [hmm
pretty sure its programmable by the dealers [ok.

i don't think there's a programmable beep, but you can certainly get your lights to flash on arm/disarm. Again, all done my dealer

Thanks for bringing this up, i keep pressing the flippin bootlid open button as i used to own a VW before which only had to buttons :rolleyes: .
..also on my E36 when starting the ignition the alarm would lock the doors, i love this feature but my new E46 does'nt do this, is it possible?

Yeah, I think I read that that is programmable by the dealers too. Not getting at you personally, but what is the point in this feature? It's meant to be anti-hijack right?

yea u can get when the car reaches 5mph it locks the doors [ok. Also according to that site Fas you can get the siren to beep when arming/disarming :D... Theres a few features i want them to sort out but im guessing dealership going to charge a bit for them. Keep forgetting to ask when im down there.

They usually charge about 15-20 mins labour for it, but that still ain't cheap. I asked them to do it once when I was having the car serviced and they'd have the diag tool on it anyway, seemed to be the best way round it.
