il save you some time. i spent hours lookin for it in uk, when to all the main shops like wicks, homebase, b&q, and no one has them. in the end i bought the UUC clutch stop. but then realised, its a huge piece of rubber, and i had to file it down....A LOT!!!

i think i bought mine from here http://www.bmwperformance.biz/acatalog/copy_of_copy_of_UUC_Motorwerks_Transmission_Produc ts2.html

Just found that one too.

Did it make a big difference in pedal feel, and will it fit other E46 coupes?

I found an old thread where peppernick had installed one on his old m3, and its seems it made a big difference.

When you say you had file it down, you mean the actual thread right, as in file it down to reduce the length? or do you mean actually shave down the rubber on top?

cheers

i had to cut the actual thread AND file down the rubber, AND file down the sides lol :D but was worth it in the end

it just means you dont have to put your foot all the way to the bottom. its not a biggy. you dont want it too high, or else you would crunch your gearbox everytime you change gear lol
i actually put a bolt behind the existing clutch stop, which worked pretty well. but be careful with the oem clutch stopper, as its made of plastic, and is very fragile.
