I can't f'ing believe it!
Was at VW today, getting some stamps in a service book done for the family's old Polo.
One of the drivers come in..... "Sir, Do you drive a BMW, can I move it please, its blocking us".
"I say, ok be careful, and note the clutch is very hard."
Two mins later.... he comes back.
"Sorry Sir, But I have hit the front of your car!" ,
ME: "Are you winding me up or something"...
Anywayz you get the idea, luckly the splitters took all the impact, and have to be painted and fitted again.
Yes, there are paying for it for sure. I have to take it on Monday to my body shop, and they are goign to make sure nothing else is damaged....
Really pissed me off today!
Sorry guys just had to vent.

Dude, i am so sorry to hear that, real bummer.
You have to learn to not be such a nice guy. I would never ever let anyone drive my car. Not even my mum and dad. Nobody ever has or will.
Especially when your car is your car with your clutch, they should be paying you just for the privalidge of sitting in your car let alone driving it.

I was in VW in edgware road the other day. Dont kno if its the same one but the way they were moving the cars id be surprised if they had passed their tests. Also the car service was crap. Cousins car came back more dirty than it was when we gave it in and instead of washing the screen they gave us a 'free' half empty bottle of screen washing solotion.

That's the reason why I only go to the Yaohan car wash. I've been going there for the past 4 years and I just don't trust anyone else with my car (unless it's a BMW garage, if they f*** it up, they pay!)

Getting them to pay for it is one thing, but with situations like this, its always more the inconvinence of having to go and get it fixed that's a pain in the ass more than anything!!
Any other damage apart from the splitters?

Exactly, I just don't have the time at the moment, and I hate her looking like this.
She's just'd been washed, and can't see any other damage at the moment, but hey I think I am still a bit wasted from last night.

The Polo's gone, I just P/X'd it for a new Mini Copper for the family. It's coming in Dec. I was there just getting stamps for old service's put in the book.

Really sorry to hear, of the damage to your car, Its a good job its just the splitter and not the bumper as well, but what were you thinking allowing some one who you do not know drive your car. Make them pay to fix it at your choice of garage. Plus some compensation for the extra stess caused.

Anyway i was working for my Father @ the local dealer (theres about 10 dealers all up in the country:rolleyes: )
I was washing cars, had my learners licence and really wasnt that experienced at the age of 15..
I had to move a flash red 5 down the narrow drive towards the cleaning bays and fully by accident launched with wheel spin and all :eek:
There was a mass of smoke and the worst smell of them all of clutch and rubber... lets just say it didnt go down to well...
Not that i meant it :(
Anyway mate lucky you didnt have a 15yr cos im going to guess that it might have been stacked..

Sorry to hear that mate! Reminds me of a couple of years ago when i took my car to get it MOT'd. I was told to pick it up a couple of hours later, so i went for a bite to eat with my mate. Got back to be told the guy had crashed my car into the mot bay. To rub insult to it all, they had a copy of the PBMW mag my car was featured in on the table. I was told it would be an easy fix and i laughed my head off. Let's just say a broken front bumper and cracked headlights cost them £7k, plus parts cause i took the opportunity to have a complete colour change. Might take the car there again next time i fancy another respray :D

Yep, someone threw the door open of there Ford and left a nice 50p size dent and some grey paint on our silver 318i. Well annoyed. I spoke to the owner (an old lady, so I tried to be calm, etc) who stated "what's the problem?, it's older than my car anyway!" aarrgghhhh!
It's just above the front indicator on the wing - dent removal possible? (I was able to get the paint off fortunately)
