hmm shame, as I have a nice set of ACS mirrors for a e36, so how do the e46 chaps fit e36 m3 mirrors on?

is there special baceplates you can buy or is it a DIY jobbie?

the e36 m3 style mirrors are popular replicas, they're sold as a complete unit and fitment is pretty straightforward.

The good news for you is that with the ACS mirrors, the mirror housing is identical from e36 to e46, you will ONLY need baseplates which are available separately.

However, the wiring from the e36 to e46 will be different, so you'll have to source some e46 motors. The good news there is that if you buy an e46, the motors from the stock mirrors can be transferred to the ACS housing and bobs your uncle :)

Sell 'em and get some M3 / Schnitzer replicas for the e46. Will look much nicer. Ca Auto are selling ACS reps in CF for £320. Pretty much the same price for genuine ACS but looks a million times better
