View Full Version : Scorpion Lemans or STW ??

Some of you may know I was considering a Scorpion STW exhaust. It was a bargain but i may miss out on the STW since i didnt do the buy-it-now option and I dont wanna bid over that price (£160 - so a bargain!)

Im gonna go for one and try it. Id I dont like it, no doubt someone else will have it!!

However, the guy emailed me back saying they had an Scorpion lemans style in stock for the same price

This is the STW:

What do you reckon as far as visuals go?

Does anyone know if the difference is JUST the tips - or is the exhaust note different?

it'll be just the tips that are different. Personally, I prefer the harder edged STW, not a fan of the rolled tips. but the main thing is, what's pleasing to YOUR eye, that's what counts

Yeah, I prefer the STW, the Lemans looks a bit bulky and cumbersome.

Don't buy something just 'cos its cheap, you might end up regretting it.

I prefer the tips on the STW as it seems more sporty

I've got the scorpion STW on my old E36 and it is quite loud but its the best looking tip that scorpion do!
dont think you will be disapointed with the look of the STW, looks stunning in the flesh.

Had the STW on my old E36 318is and it is very beefy on idle but does look much better than the rolled.

Deffo go for the STW. I have had rolled tips before but the Eisenmann tips (like the STW) look sooo much better.

Just to confirm your decision, Go for the STW they look sleak like the E36 M3 pipes

Thanks for all the suggestions guys. Im NOT gonna get the lemans - it was another comment from someone else that really detered me summat along the lines of "reminds me of peco big bore!!" - no thanks!

Gonna wait for an STW - wonder if Teddy can do me one for £160 like that guy frrom the shop off ebay....
