Tracey went out of the house on Monday at about 12.30 and got back in at 15.45,to find the front door open.We had been burgled, well and truly had the house turned over    .All the usual suspects had gone,TV, laptop, jewellery, credit cards and basically anything small that they could remove. The house had been well and truly ransacked cupboards turned over every single drawer opened and then scattered across the floor.Luckily my keys are in the safe which they didn't find, sadly the pikey mobile keys have gone,so a 26ton crane unit is parked across it so that it cant be snatched later.I know we are insured but, its the loss of some of Traceys personal items which she got when one of her brothers sadly passed away some years ago, those type of things cant be replaced.I have spent the last 24 hours dealing with insurers and trying to get sorted out,I'm not sure I can be on my best behaviour much longer, because some of the twats on the other end are pissing me off big time.Anyway I would publically like to thank Andy (Icecold) who rang me yesterday afternoon and got us 2 free tickets to tonights game at Stamford Bridge. It did us good to get out of the devastation for a few hours,so from us both a big thanks. In the meantime I may not be on here for a few days but I will keep checking in when I can

violation of personal property is always disheartning, as long as you and Tracy are OK is the main thing and with a bit of luck she will recover her belongings, might be worth a trip to the local pawn shops at the weekend.

Really sorry to hear about this Mark, know how it feels for someone to come into your home and take your stuff, pretty gut wrenching feeling.

I am a commercial insurance broker, but our household department are pretty on the ball, so just shout if you need any help or assistance with the insurance companies.

Regards to you and Tracy.

Sorry to hear about it mate, so many stories like this on this forum just shows what a great county we live in work hard to have all the nice things then the people that don't want to work take it from us along with our taxes then they get let off anyway

Damn Guys thats terrible. Never been unfortunate for this to happen to m but i get well p!ssed when kids steal my valve caps so i dread to think how this must feel. Happy that they didn't get either of the cars. As has been said, might be a good idea to get down to your local cash convertors just on the off chance. Lazy fuckers will probably just want to offload everything as quickly as possible. Hope they left some finger prints somwhere and that you manage to recover the majority of your costs through your insurance.

really sorry to hear what happened mate, I know how shit it feels.

Sadly it seems laser guarded perimeters with high-rate machine gun turrets in each corner are the only way forward... once upon a time you could confidently go out with your door left unlocked, apparantly.

Gents we would like to thank you all for your messages of support in this difficult time,it means a great deal to us both. Some of you have pm'd us and made telephone calls offering help it is very much appreciated. Its not been easy dealing with this,in particular knowing that some idle fuckwit has destroyed our privacy, and taken personal items that will have no value to them, but do to us and in particular to Tracey. As you know I see other victims of this sort of crime on a daily basis so I suppose I shouldn't be surprised, but I am.Hopefully they will get their comeuppance, and the best I can hope for is that they crash and die very painfully
