Saying goodbye to the 'loon.....

After a year of ownership am saying goodbye to my beloved saloon.

Love the car to bits and love everything I've done to it, and wasn't even completed! Still wanted to lower it, change the brakes and do the boot install!

I'm paying stupid amounts for the insurance and was spending a lot of money on modding and as am 20 right now and still live at home so have no other major expenses bar the car I just decided that this was probably the best time to save as much money as possible to put a deposit on a place (amongst other things!). Can always get a better car later on when am more settled!

Will be replacing the car soon as, most probably with a small hatch which is lighter on insurance or even a car sourced through work as that way they'll cover insurance. But either way, apart from an audio install no other mods planned for the next car! To get an install in a hatch sounding good should be a LOT easier than a saloon.

Had all my ICE taken out today and thought I'd share this sad picture... :(

But at the end of the day a place has gotta take priority. Still reckon you'll end up modding the hatch though:D

Yeah :( The ICE im not really too fussed about as am keeping it all and it will be going into the hatch. Plus it will be my second install so hopefully can learn from this one and make it even better.

My biggest dissapointment is def the radiums! Only had them a month and they looked sooo nice on the car, haven't really had a chance to enjoy them properly!

Just I hope the next owner has a longer chance to enjoy them than i did!

sorry to hear that when your brother told me last night I couldnt believe it!

you need to stay with the family mate, get a 120D it'll be cheap to insure and cheap to run and still plenty of modding potentials! re-mapping of course!
