The second question sums up my confusion, but do you believe the answer?

NI is part of the UK and comes under the DVLA, the NI plate style OIL 1234 would of been issued and i'm sure its not requird to be taken off but it can and changed for the original year of the car.

Best avoided, plus it looks more than 106k!

And it had pre facelift headlights and bumper so either is an old car or has had a bang and old parts used to fix
DVLA should never have issued a 53 plate

I don`t know how it works but my neighbour has a Vogue and a Supercharged Sport, both were damaged Left hand drive cars but now wear 07 and 57 plates.

On rare occasions dvla can register an old car with a new plate, this tends to happen to car with uncertain history or something to that extents cant remember exactly.

His answers correct. My bro bought a 2002 5 Series which was imported from Ireland. He had to take the paperwork to the DVLA office and get it registered. He had the option of leaving the Irish plates on the car or having new plates issued. Which would have meant his car had an 06 plate. But he opted for the Irish one instead. Thats how it works
