Not a private plate but I replaced my plates as Dan spotted them rotting...Found a guy online who makes plates dirt cheap with free customisation and cheap too (22quid inc postage for 3 plates). I think he should have asked for my documentation but he believed me when I said my wife and I drove a off-road competition rally car everyday *shh* ;)

As for the legality, you're allowed any footer messages and left hand logos as long as the reg numbers are in line with the DOT guidelines, i.e. they are clearly visible, evenly spaced etc.

Yeah thats right, you need the postcode. I got quizzed over this. They let me of in the end though, but they was going to give me a £30 fine. Crazy.

But it's the plate maker that can be fined, not you Mitsu.

That law only came in a year or so ago, so who's to know when you had the plates made?

(Except for everybody at Evotechnik :D)
