Sounds like a pretty good buy, but a word of warning Scorpians are very loud!

The reason why Scorpion exhausts are such a bargain compared to others is because they are cheap in the first place. I don't think they retail any more above that price you found on ebay.
However, be warned. Boomy, raw and drone........and the finish is not impressive [bang

Yeah, my brother has the full scorpion system I believe (was on the car when he bought it) and it is very loud. Apparently its headache-enducing on motorways. As that is just the backbox you might be alright. :)

Jamie, why don't u just remove the 2nd resonator? i must agree that most Scorpion system I've heard (Golfs etc.) are pretty loud and u may tire out on motorways.

Thanks for your input guys.
Im looking for visual enhancement over exhaust note/performance gain to be honest!
For my needs - do you reckon it would be ok? As for motorway drivng - this cud be an issue if its toooooo loud!

as Nick says .....relatively poor quality ( uses generic internal baffles made in China / far east ) and bloody loud .
we have also seen a power LOSS on dyno on 326 M52 with scorpion fitted

If that's the case, you don't want to compromise your driving comfort with an exhaust that is too loud just for the asthetics. Have you thought about AC Schnitzer rep exhaust tips from Teddy?

If you're going to be on the motorway I strongly advise you not to get it. As I said, my brother has this and has considered a change several times, it drones really badly at motorway speeds I'm told. I don't think the note is quite as refined as other systems either, but thats just my opinion. :)
Not trying to put you off mate, its just something to be wary of.

on exhaust you really get what you paid for...price is there to be seen and I do not know many BM drivers have SP exhaust fitted at all.
