M torque site wont accept my e mail address?!

Tryed to sign in to M torques site for first time but it said my e mail address was banned!!!! Im with hotmail so is it hotmail that is banned and if so why? also cant find any e mail address on there site for technical enquires.

(Know this has nothing to do with Evoteknic site but thought someone with more computer know how than me might be able to help!!!! Cheers again!)

A lot of places don't allow hotmail and yahoo type emails, too easy to make fake accounts I think. Not sure, email them to ask.

Hi Frank, i'm afraid i can't offer any advice about the log in problems, but whilst we are on the subject i have just found the M torque site, seems like a good place for advice and friendly ///M chat.

hotmail and such is not accepted on Mtorque, for the reasons stated above by Kin Mak.

Yep you can't join M-Torque using Hotmail or Yahoo etc.

Try a different email address such as one provided from an ISP.

Those exhausts are still on there btw ;)

Right, so any computer geeks on here, who could explain to a computer illitarate thick wit like me how I set up the right type of e mail account (dont have outlook express on my computer and use vista OS)?

ask someone you know that might have an email account at work. i used one of my old websites when i first joined. but got banned when i had an arguement with a guy who thought that me doing donuts was a lot worse than him doing 140mph+ and getting caught. he didnt get banned.

so then i used my girlfriends email account at her work to set me up.

Respect XKaLiBaR! Partial to a bit of diffing (as we call it over here!) the odd time myself! Just dont have the heart to put the new M3 round in the same way as my old M3..... just a bit too cruel to her when I like her so much!!!:D

if you ever have an accident go with accident exchange. the m3 they were going to give me, came back with damage, so the woman said 'will an m6 be ok' :D

I dont have a website.

You just need something that is not webmail, Hotmail, Yahoo, GMail etc are not good.

You need something that your ISP has provided, something like dave@virgin.net or whatever, that will be fine.

Once you register you can change the email to anything, I'm currently using my Yahoo as my M-Torque email.
