Looks like a bitch of a job, do i have to take all the boot lining out or is there an easier way by just cutting the liner?

Yep you need to remove the rear lining and make a cut on the carpet but shouldn't take more than 30 mins.

I've got a replica ACS strut that I've taken off my car because of the ICE install, you interested? ;)

No more than 30mins.lol Ill get you to fit it next time dude. Was a bitch of a job cutting the carpet but took me about an hour all in. Think i cocked the cutting up a bit so gonna get the whole boot retrimmed in Black alcantara.

That's a wicked quote for a full boot retrim in alcantara. Have to say, I thought it would have cost a fair few quid. That will look lush matey.

Get your ICE sorted first mate (if you haven't already), purely to reduce surface area of course. ;)

alcantara usually costs around £50 per metre sqaured from what i heard [hmm.

I had my door trims and roof recovered in alcantara in my Zafira for £900. In the boot theres only the floor and sides which cant be much over 2m2 anyway?

sounds about right but i assumed theyd charge quite a bit of labour to retrim.

TBH i dont think hes paying £50/m2, hes a friend of mine also. I bought a roll of blue alcantara with about 10m2 for £200. Never used it in the end and sold it for £100.:rolleyes:
